Dr. Rigobert Kefferputz
Naturopathic Doctor · Salt Spring Island, BC
About Dr. Kefferputz
Dr. Rigobert Kefferputz is a naturopathic doctor with over thirteen years of clinical experience in integrative medicine. He practices on Salt Spring Island, BC, where he offers root-cause care that brings together conventional and naturopathic tools: IV therapy, bioidentical hormones, herbal medicine, acupuncture, functional testing, and somatic work.
He trained at McGill University and Boucher Institute, completed a residency in Germany at cancer and anthroposophical hospitals, and has served on the board of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. He has appeared in dozens of television segments on CTV Morning News Live and speaks at medical and wellness conferences in Canada and abroad.
His work also extends beyond the office, hosting wellbeing retreats on 72 acres of old-growth forest on Mount Maxwell, where he leads breathwork, men's work, and somatic facilitation.

Wellness Philosophy
My job is to help people understand their own physiology, and to give them the tools to act on what they learn. I'm not here to change anyone. I'm here to support change that comes from inside the person sitting across from me.
That means listening carefully, asking better questions, and treating the body, mind, and nervous system as one system. It means using lab tests, supplements, and prescriptions when they're the right tool, and slower work, breath, and somatic awareness when those are.
My mission is to help as many people as possible live with more energy, clearer thinking, and a steadier nervous system, so they can show up fully for the lives they want to build.

Programs can cover:
- Stress, burnout, and nervous-system regulation in the workplace
- Energy, sleep, and the foundations of sustainable performance
- Practical nutrition for busy professionals and travelling teams
- Breathwork and somatic practice for leadership and high-stakes decision-making
- Hormones and longevity, with a frank look at what actually moves the needle
Sessions can be delivered in-person on Salt Spring Island, on-site at your organization, or as part of a multi-day retreat at Mount Maxwell.

About the Practice
Dr. Kefferputz runs a solo practice on Salt Spring Island, BC, with patients across the Lower Mainland and beyond who travel for in-person care or work with him by telemedicine. The office is a quiet, light-filled space designed to slow the nervous system the moment patients arrive.
The work is grounded in a simple idea: people heal best when they understand what is happening in their own body, and when they are met by a doctor who will partner with them through it.
