A solo
practice,
unhurried.

I run a solo practice on Salt Spring Island, seeing patients from across BC and beyond, in person for those who make the trip, and by telemedicine for everyone else.

The work is grounded in a simple idea: people heal best when they understand what is happening in their own body, and when they are met by a doctor who will partner with them through it.

When you feel truly understood, everything shifts. The work gets lighter, insights land deeper, and the steps forward come more easily.

Men's naturopathic care
✦ Men's Work

Hormones, breath, and the work most men never get to.

A dedicated track for men: testosterone and metabolic labs, sleep and energy, breathwork, and the inner work that supports lasting change.

✦ Office policies

How my office runs.

Cancellations

I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee, because that time is reserved specifically for you.

Telemedicine

Follow-ups and many consultations are available via secure video. Especially helpful if you live off-island, are travelling, or have mobility considerations.

House calls

House calls are available on Salt Spring Island for patients who can't easily come in. Get in touch and we'll arrange a home visit.

Most extended health plans

Naturopathic medicine is covered by most extended benefits in BC. Check your specific plan limits.

Direct billing where possible

I direct bill many insurance companies. For plans I can't bill directly, you receive a detailed receipt for reimbursement.

Cash, credit, e-transfer

All standard payment methods accepted. MSP does not cover naturopathic visits.

Wooden bench and statue in a peaceful forest setting on Salt Spring Island
✦ A different room

Some sessions belong outdoors.

Not every conversation needs to happen in a clinical setting. Sometimes the most meaningful work unfolds in the woods: walking, sitting among the trees, letting the rhythm of nature quiet the noise so you can hear yourself think.

I offer consultations in the forest surrounding my Salt Spring property because of what it does for people. The nervous system regulates. Cortisol drops. Honesty becomes easier.

Whether it's reviewing labs, an IFS session, or simply talking through what's weighing on you, the forest becomes a soothing place for reflection, a space where healing feels less like an exercise and more like coming home.

✦ What to expect

From first call to first plan, step by step.

01

Discovery call

A free, no-obligation conversation. You tell me what's going on, I tell you whether naturopathic medicine is the right next step. No pressure, no commitment.

02

Your first visit

We sit down together and walk through your full health story. Medical history, current concerns, lifestyle, what you've already tried. I listen carefully, ask questions, and start connecting the dots.

03

A plan that fits you

You leave with a clear picture of what's going on and the first steps of a treatment plan, whether that's lab work, supplementation, a referral, or simply a follow-up to keep going.

Start with a free 15-minute conversation.

If you've been curious about naturopathic care but aren't sure where to begin, this call is for you. No intake forms, no commitment, just a chance to connect before your first visit.

  1. 01

    Share what's going on

Tell me your main concerns and what you've already tried. I'll listen without rushing.

  2. 02

    Ask your questions

Understand my approach, what an initial visit actually looks like, and how I work differently.

  3. 03

See if we're a good fit

Not every patient is a match for every practitioner. This call helps us both decide before committing.

These calls are 15 minutes, virtual, and completely free. Ideal if you're new to naturopathic care, unsure which service fits your situation, or simply want to ask a few questions before booking.

✦ How to prepare

A short list, before you walk in.

01

Medications & supplements

A list of everything you're currently taking, including dosages and how long you've been on each. Don't worry about getting it perfect. A phone screenshot of the bottles works.

02

Recent lab work

Any blood work, imaging, or test results from the past 12–24 months. If you have results in a patient portal, screenshots or PDFs are perfect.

03

Your top concerns

Jot down the three or four things you most want to talk about. We'll cover more, but having a starting list makes sure nothing important gets missed.

Some sessions belong online.

Telemedicine makes it possible. Lab reviews, follow-ups, IFS sessions, supplement planning, and detailed case reviews can all happen from your home. If you're outside Salt Spring but looking for naturopathic care that goes deeper than a 15-minute visit, good care meets you where you are.
