New Patient Information
Everything you need to know before your first visit.
What to Expect
Your first visit is a 75-minute consultation.
This is your time to share your full health story. I'll go through your medical history, current concerns, lifestyle, and goals, listening carefully, asking questions, and starting to connect the dots.
By the end of the visit, you'll leave with a clear picture of what's going on, an initial treatment plan, and next steps (whether that's lab work, a follow-up, or starting a new protocol).
How to Prepare
Medications & Supplements
Bring a list of everything you're currently taking, including dosages.
Recent Lab Work
Any blood work, imaging, or test results from the past year.
Health Concerns
Write down your top concerns and questions so nothing gets missed.

How Working With Me Is Different
Not every conversation needs to happen in a clinical setting. Sometimes the most meaningful work unfolds outdoors: walking through the forest, sitting among the trees, letting the rhythm of nature quiet the noise so you can hear yourself think.
I offer consultations in the woods surrounding my Salt Spring Island property because I've seen what it does for people. Nature helps regulate the nervous system, lowers cortisol, and creates space for the kind of honesty that's hard to access under fluorescent lights. Patients drop into their truth more easily when their body feels safe.
Whether we're reviewing lab results, working through an IFS session, or simply talking through what's weighing on you, the forest becomes a soothing place for reflection, a space where healing feels less like a clinical exercise and more like coming home to yourself.
Insurance & Pricing
Insurance Coverage
Naturopathic visits are not covered by BC MSP. However, most extended health plans include naturopathic medicine coverage.
I direct bill many insurance companies. For plans I don't bill directly, you'll receive a detailed receipt to submit to your provider for reimbursement.
I accept cash, credit card, and e-transfer.
Consultation Fees
Office Policies
Cancellation Policy
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee, as that time is reserved specifically for you.
Telemedicine
Follow-up appointments and certain consultations are available via telemedicine. This is ideal for patients living off-island or with limited mobility.
House Calls
House calls are available for patients on Salt Spring Island who are unable to travel to my office. Contact me to arrange a home visit.
