Dr. Kefferputz’s path to naturopathic medicine began when he observed the gaps in conventional medical approaches to addressing complex, chronic diseases. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Physiology from McGill University, he saw a growing body of research supporting the use of Complementary and Alternative therapies in various clinical settings. Upon completing his four-year medical degree at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Kefferputz had the chance to visit multiple teaching clinics and hospitals in Germany. There, he witnessed firsthand how well-integrated non-conventional therapies could significantly improve outcomes for patients with chronic illnesses, including cancer, lyme disease, and autoimmune conditions.
From then on, Dr. Kefferputz made it his mission to wholly integrate the spectrum of supportive therapies that naturopathic and conventional medicine has to offer. He has a passion for sharing his knowledge with others and has been teaching integrative medicine concepts in the areas of supportive cancer care, mental health, hormones, digestion and environmental medicine for over 12 years across the world. He is the course author for conventional laboratory assessments at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. He supervised naturopathic interns in their 3rd and 4th year of education for 5 years and taught multiple class courses including Pathology, Nutrition, Differential Diagnosis and Master’s Classes.
Dr. Kefferputz has lectured on a diverse range of medical topics, as presented at the British Columbia Naturopathic Conference (2019), the Collaborative Education Conference (2020), American Association of Naturopathic Doctors (2019) the Saskatchewan Naturopathic Conference (2021 & 2023) and the BioMed International Medical Conference in Germany (2018) as well as Happiness Camp for Corporate Happiness (2022) in Porto, Portugal He is a medical consultant for a nutraceutical company and continues to be an in-demand lecturer both for the professional and public audiences with more than 30 appearances on programs like CTV Morning News Live and more.
Dr. Kefferputz highly values the importance of health in the working world and is brought into small to medium sized enterprises as a corporate wellbeing officer; working on cognitive, emotional and somatic levels in order to create an atmosphere of safety for a working culture to thrive and become resilient in an ever changing adversarial environment. He also believes in the importance of supporting the Naturopathic Profession and has sat as an executive on the Board of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Medicine, advocating for safety and scientific research in modernizing the naturopathic regulation federally.
Lastly, Dr. Kefferputz is a proud father of two boys with a passion for being in connection with his community. He enjoys chess, vinyl, coffee with his highschool sweetheart, snuggling his dog, and spending time in the water. When he is not working, you can find him in the woods on Salt Spring Island tinkering away at a pet project.

More than just medicine
You want to live a life of wellbeing and empowerment, with deeply fulfilling relationships and know that you're living your highest purpose/ But under the pressure to perform, provide and be perfect, you feel lost, anxious and unmotivated in your daily life while your health continues to deteriorate. Can you relate? I've been there.
I watched my life fall apart because I didn't have the skills and discipline to confront what had been holding me back. Even as a Naturopathic Doctor, the arsenal of supplements and therapies that covered up my discomfort wasn't nearly enough to help me get to the root of it. Ever since, I've made it my mission to do more - not just stop at the science - but to dig deeper into THEFUNDAMENTALSwho and how you are. The type of support that help you step out of your own way and get what you want out of your body and your life. It's why I help my patients unveil behaviours they can subscribe to and, in many cases, create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
